If your boiler has stopped firing and you think your tank may be empty, don't worry - help is at hand. If you can contact us before 10am we will do our utmost to reach you the same day with a minimum delivery of 1000 litres. In times of very high demand due to long periods of very cold weather, we cannot always guarantee a same day delivery, but you can always come to us...
Our emergency RUN OUT PACK consists of 4 x 20 litre drums of kerosene, protective gloves and goggles, a funnel and full safety instructions. This pack can be collected from our Midlands and Southern offices and will keep your boiler going for several days.
For extra security we recommend the Tank Signal System. Easily installed with no wiring, this is an automatic system prompt for re-ordering your fuel in good time, so you need never run out again. Oil getting low? How low? Perhaps the following information will help: For example a 3/ 4 bedroomed house will use around 50 litres of oil per week in the Winter. This equates to 1 inch of oil per week on a 2500 litre tank or 2 inches in a 1200 litre tank. So, if you have approximately 4 inches of oil above the outlet you will have between 2 and 4 weeks supply left.
